Watery Wednesday #69

Some frozen ducks from Finland.

This is my first Watery Wednesday challenge post. Yes, it's freezing cold here (it was -19 degrees celsius when that picture was taken on New Year's day), but the ducks still like to go for a swim. This shot was exceptionally taken by my fiancé, but I got his permission to publish the picture. If not otherwise mentioned, all pictures on this blog are taken by me.

By the way, Luolaleijona (my alias) means Cave Lion and Hallakuvia (the header of the blog) means Frost Pictures.

  1. Burrr! I can see the frost build up on their feathers! They're probably warmer in the water than out!

  2. Great shot of the ducks. I think they are use to cold water and weather.
